HijamaPlus values its relationships with its customers. Our privacy policy governs the privacy terms and conditions of our websites (www.hijamaplus.com and www.hijamaplus.versum.com) as well as our clients ‘’data subjects’’.

The Regulation defines “personal data” as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (a data subject); such as a name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address and special category data concerning health.

The Regulation sets out the following rights applicable to data subjects:

• The right to rectification;
• The right to erasure (also known as the ‘right to be forgotten’);
• The right to restrict processing;
• The right to data portability;
• The right to object;
• Rights with respect to automated decision-making and profiling.

1. Information we collect and how we use it:

1.1 If you create an online Versum account to book your appointment, the information you provide during that process, such as your full name, email address, and phone number will be stored securely by Versum and will only be accessible by HijamaPlus.You can modify some of the information associated with your account through your account settings.

1.2 We use various safeguards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, however we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

1.3 Upon meeting with us the consultation and consent form will be stored securely in a locked filing cabinet to which only designated staff members have access.

1.4 We may disclose your personal information to the extent that we are required to do so by law, such as in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights and to any person who we reasonably believe may apply to a court or other competent authority for disclosure of that personal information where, in our reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order disclosure of that personal information. Other than provided in this policy we will not share your personal information with third parties.

2. Email and phone communication:

2.1 You will receive email and text communications from us if you have booked a treatment session with us. Such as confirmation and reminder emails and texts. As well as updates and health news.

2.2 You may opt-out of our email list at any time. Where you opt out of receiving our email communications, this will not apply to sending out emails and texts pertaining to your appointment.

3. Retaining personal information

3.1 HijamaPlus shall ensure that all personal data collected and processed is kept accurate and up-to-date.

3.2 The accuracy of data shall be checked with you when it is collected and or during further contact. If any inaccurate or out-of-date data is found, the data will be erased as appropriate.

3.3Please let us know if the personal information that we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.

3.4 Personal information that we process for any purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary in regards to the purposes for which the data was collected and processed.

3.5 You may request us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you, and have the right to instruct us at any time not to process your personal information for marketing purposes.

4. Controlling your personal Data

4.1 If you wish to exercise your “right to be forgotten’’ and have all Personally Identifiable Information deleted, please email us directly with your request: hijamaplus@hotmail.com

4.2 Our website includes hyperlinks and details of, third party websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies and practices of third parties.

5. Privacy policy updates

5.1 We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. The method we chose is at our sole discretion.

5.2 Any changes we make to our Privacy Policy are effective as of this Last Updated date and replace any prior Privacy Policies.

5.3 If we make material changes to this policy, we may notify you by email, or by any method we determine.

5.4We will also change the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.

5.5 You should review this Privacy Policy regularly.
